How best to describe masonry?

Perhaps a friend and lodge brother of mine describes it best by saying...
"A couple times a month I get to sit down and talk with some of the best men I have ever known."
What do you think? How would you best describe Masonry?

How about...
Freemasonry is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values. Its members are taught its precepts by a series of ritual dramas, which follow ancient forms, and use stonemasons' customs and tools as allegorical guides.
